DraftNasty Throwback: 'Moss feeling the heat'-Part One (Trailer)

While some professional athletes use the heat and elements of summer to train inside, others relish the sweat, pain and humidity of the steamy, yet often grueling conditions. For New England Patriots' 13-year pro Randy Moss, it's all about South Florida when it's time to grind. In a part one snippet of his upcoming documentary 'Moss feeling the heat', DraftNasty learns that both Moss and eight-year trainer Tim Martin turn up the volume when under the sun.

Former Virginia and Southern WR Jared Green has enjoyed a strong postseason at both the 2011 HBCU Bowl and 2012 AstroTurf NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. He routinely blazed past CBs during each of the All-Star practices and even caught the attention of former Oakland/LA Raiders' 2-time Super Bowl winning-coach Tom Flores. The Virginia graduate hopes to blaze a trail in the legacy of his father, former Washington Redskins' Hall of Fame and 20-year veteran CB Darrell Green. DraftNasty.com goes deep with Jared Green.

DraftNasty.com's Corey Chavous grew up a huge General Hospital fan, but since there's no more Robert Scorpio or Anna Devane to catch up with, he found Nadine Crowell -better known as Claire Coffee- at the 2012 NFLPA Pulse Awards. Coffee is currently starring in the new NBC series 'Grimm', where she stars as attorney/witch Adalind Schade. She talks about her current favorite NFL player, what position she would play in the sport and she even offers a prediction for last weekend's NFC Championship game.

Vandy, Cincy seniors shine in final auditions

Several seniors left undeniable marks on their programs on December 31, 2011 when the co-Big East Champion Cincinnati Bearcats tussled with the Vanderbilt Commodores. A big reason the Bearcats were able to claw their way to a comeback victory was the play of senior RB Isaiah Pead. The 2011 Liberty Bowl MVP rushed for 148 yards and a key TD run late in the team's 31-24 victory. Vanderbilt CB Casey Hayward (Vanderbilt's Outstanding Defensive Player of the Game), Cincinnati LB JK Schaffer (Cincinnati's Outstanding Defensive Player of the Game) and Bearcat DT Derek Wolfe also left favorable final impressions on their collegiate resumes'.

DraftNasty Prospect Recap, Louisiana-Lafayette: Bentley leads the way

Senior cornerback Dwight Bentley (#5 pictured) has a lot to be happy about right now. After helping to lead the Ragin' Cajuns to last Saturday's New Orleans Bowl championship, he's now in preparation for the Senior Bowl. He looks to continue the tradition set by former Louisiana-Lafayette cornerbacks Ike Taylor and Charles Tillman, both currently starring in the NFL. DraftNasty.com caught up with some of the team's senior leaders following their bowll victory. We found a close-knit group starving for a long overdue championship.

DraftNasty grades Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson

Over a two-year period while at NC State, Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson, pictured, set an NCAA record by throwing 389 consecutive passes without an interception. This past season, while leading the Badgers to the Big Ten Championship, he continued to protect the ball. The former pro baseball player tossed 31 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions while connecting on 72.5% of his passes. Aside from lacking elite size and arm strength, Wilson has very few flaws.

DraftNasty Flashback: Preseason spotlight on 2011 Heisman finalist Robert Griffin's Baylor Bears

A year ago, many were surprised when current 2011 Heisman finalist, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, earned 2nd Team All-Big 12 (Coaches) honors despite playing in a conference with Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden (1st Team), Missouri's Blaine Gabbert (HM All-Big 12) and Oklahoma's Landry Jones (HM All-Big 12). What's more eye-catching is that before this season, he lost one of his top vertical threats from 2010, WR Josh Gordon (suspended), but he did return the school's all-time leading receiver, Kendall Wright. DraftNasty took a look at the trio this past summer when previewing the 2011 Baylor Bears.

DraftNasty Video Spotlight: Texas A&M’s two-step

For the second year in a row, the Aggies' RB duo of Cyrus Gray (#32 pictured) and Christine Michael (#33 pictured) proved to be a load as a tandem. However, for the second year in a row, the pair was unable to finish the season due to injury. Michael (2011-899 yds, 8 TDs) went down with a torn ACL against Oklahoma a year after his season ended prematurely with a broken leg against Texas Tech in October 2010. It is still uncertain whether Gray (2011-1,032 yds rushing, 12 TDs) will play for the Aggies in the team's bowl game against Northwestern after he suffered a stress fracture in his shoulder that forced him to miss the season finale vs. Texas. Before the injuries, the pair had combined for 1,632 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns.
