DraftNasty's Hidden Gems, Vol. XVIII: Keith Wenning QB Ball State

Through six games, Ball State junior QB Keith Wenning has gotten off to a fast start. Wenning has gone over 400 yards passing in each of his last two outings. This comes off the heels of a last minute upset over South Florida in Week Four. We break down what makes the 6-foot-4, 222-pound signal-caller one of the top QBs in the MAC.

Man what a video! Keith Wenning has what it takes. It appears he is confident when throwing the deep ball which leads to accurate completions. Can't wait to see more from this young man. Maybe he will be the golden pony to restore the MAC QBs success!

D,

Thanks a lot. The kid has a good future! He's been one of my Hidden Gems for the last two seasons. Keep your eye on him from here on out!!

Nice breakdown and well edited like always. I notice that Wenning keeps his front side loaded and has a false weight shift, which causes the nose of his ball to die on a lot of his throws. Who does Wenning remind you of that currently plays on Sundays.
