Temple almost broke Penn State's 29-game winning streak against the Owls in front of 57,323 fans, the third-largest crowd in team history. The Owls led the game until Penn State's Michael Zordich scored on a one-yard run with 2:42 remaining. Both teams now stand 2-1 after the Nittany Lions escaped with a hard-fought 14-10 victory.
