Duke safety Matt Daniels (#40 pictured) had an impressive outing in last Saturday’s contest versus the 6th-ranked Stanford Cardinal. Daniels added 13 tackles to go along with his 6 pass breakups from the previous week. This game also featured Heisman candidate Andrew Luck and senior WR Chris Owusu. The Washington Huskies used the venom and momentum they built over the season's final month to roll to a convincing 12-point victory over the eighteenth ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Holiday Bowl on Thursday evening. This team is very explosive offensively with the likes of Darron Thomas (So), LaMichael James (RS,SO), and Jeff Maehl (Sr.) leading the way for the Ducks offense, which scored on every possession leading up to the 3rd quarter. Defensively for the Ducks, Kenny Rowe (Sr.) showed why he is the leading candidate for Pac 10 Defensive Player of the Year.
