Suh stops Janikowski's record chaseDecember 19th, 2011 By Corey Chavous
Detroit DT Ndamukong Suh, pictured, returned from his two-game suspension Sunday afternoon in a major way. His blocked kick on the game's final play vs. Oakland preserved the Lions' comeback 28-27 win. It's larger significance stems from the fact that Raiders' K Sebastian Janikowski, pictured, had already nailed six kicks from over 50 yards this year, including an NFL-record 63-yarder. Janikowski also tied an NFL record vs. the Texans with three field goals of 50-plus yards. He was looking to set or tie his third NFL all-time mark on the game-winning 65-yd field goal attempt. Kathy Pearson - Amanda, you are amazing. You did a wonuerfdl job of catching our special moments and, yet, you were so unobtrusive we hardly knew you were there. You have captured the love that was present the whole day. We can't wait to see all of the proofs and feel very lucky that you were Anna and John's photographer.(Anna's mom)
