Cam Johnson (#56 pictured) started his career as a 3-4 OLB under former UVA coach Al Groh. Upon Mike London’s arrival in 2010, Johnson moved to DE, where he led the team with 26 TFLs and 10 sacks. Johnson has shown the physical traits to be a good player, but he needs to improve on becoming a factor on every down.
Former Tennessee Tech WR Tim Benford is a quicker than fast route runner and he possesses the athleticism to be a factor when operating from the slot at the next level. Though he fell just one touchdown shy of setting the school's receiving TD mark, Benford leaves as the school's all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards.
